On 18th September last year we participated in cleaning ‘struikelstenen’ in Eindhoven to mark the anniversary of the city’s liberation: these are the small brass plaques set into the pavements which commemorate the addresses of those lost in the Holocaust. Over time they had become tarnished and hard to read; our thorough scrubbing left them shining and once more looking as they should.
The activity was organized by Rotaract Eindhoven.
